A: Do what you love and are passionate about, and have a work ethic to match that passion. Q: What is your personal motto? A: Do what makes you happy and always choose love. Q: Who is your favourite designer? A: I don’t think I could choose just one, because there are so many that inspire me for different reasons and for different types of projects. I do always love Kelly Wearstler’s projects and Kelly Behun. I also love the work of James Davie Design, who recently moved back to Toronto from New York City. I have had the opportunity to work with him on a project we are doing, and he is a visionary. Q: Where do you get your design inspiration from mostly? A: It’s a mix. I often get inspiration from nature and just watching people move through the city – their style, what they consume. I think particular urban areas inspire me to evoke a specific design sense. For a Magazine, I do love Architectural Digest and Elle Decor. Q: What are your favourite trends in décor right now? A: Brass! I can’t seem to get enough right now. I also love more natural materials. I am loving natural stones and really custom hardware. I’ve been coming across some really custom hardware that is so inspiring. See attached photo from Kelly Wearstler kitchen. Q: What is your favourite project or room that you have worked on? (Please send a photo!) A: I’m currently working on it! I will be sure to share the photo of the completed project when I have it. Stay tuned! What is your favourite brand or item in the Scout Décor Marketplace? A: My favourite item is the Strand dining chair! Check out more of Natasha's Designs at www.urbanblueprintdevelopments.com
